Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert'
Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' is a beautiful Japanese Anemone, and I have loved this plant for a long time. It has deep green lobed leaves and above them stands strong stems with brilliant white flowers and pretty golden yellow stames. It is a brilliant cut flower and brightens up a shady part of your garden during late summer through the autumn months. Simple and elegant. Also loved by bees.
Common Name
Japanese Anemone 'Honorine Jobert'

Cultivation
This aneomone is a very tolerant plant. It will take full sun or part shade and I particularily love it in shady corners where the white flowers shine out. It tolerates most soils but it will sulk if constantly wet during winter months, so make sure it isn't waterlogged and the rain drains away.
Cut back flowers late autumn but keep cutting and arrnaging them during their flowering period.
It can be divided in early spring or autumn.
