Large green / white pin cushions type flowers with a hint of green / white / pink to their bracts and veins, appear for weeks on end from early summer. Like many Astrantia, it will repeat flower if faded blooms are removed. Great flower for cutting and loved by bees

  • Cultivation

    Part shade is best, but it will tolerate full sun as long as it is in a moisture retentive soil.  Mulch well with rotten organic matter or leaf mould to help retain moisture.

    Dead head to prolong flowers and cut back once flowers are over, autumn.

    Divide in the spring.

    We think it is a great cut flower with a long vase life.
