Geranium ‘Bill Wallis'
Geranium pyrenaicum 'Bill Wallis' is a hardy, clump forming geranium with a loose / sprawling habit. It has lovely deep purple flowers above small, lobbed leaves. It will flower from early summer through to late autumn and will self seed if you allow it too. I love this little geranium
Common Name
mountain cranesbill, hardy geranium
Height and Spread
0.5m x 0.5m
Cultivation
Grow in any, moderately fertile soil apart from waterlogged soils, ensure soil is well drained. Full sun or partial shade is best but shade is tolerated. It will cope with dry spells.
It will self seed freely but isn't invasive. If you don't want seedlings appearing in your garden, cut flowers before forming seeds. Cutting back old flowers and leaves can encourage fresh growth.
